Every month, I set my calendar with high expectations for myself, and “Black Reads” always has a theme until I curate the newsletter. Truthfully, I’m battling with myself the whole day before it publishes because I ask myself every time why can’t I stick to the theme? The truth is, this ain’t that newsletter, and I really need to let it go.
“Black Reads” is not about me, you, her, him, them, or they. This newsletter is for us to enjoy our words, our experiences, our stories, together. Maybe this eclipse season is rewiring something within my mind, but more on that for a new series coming out on Sunday for the astrology lovers.
Currently, I’ve been in my unlearning, studying, and sharpening my critical thinking skills to understand our history. I love when we share our work in the chat because we see how intrinsically connected we all are without anything other than divine guidance.
