How about we cut the stereotypes projected on our community? What would that look like if Black women stopped being "strong" and Black men stopped being a "beast"? These reads will get you thinking.
Society has placed a lot of expectations on the way we show up in the world as Black men and women. Black men are supposed to be one way, while Black women are meant to be another. And we know those stereotypes don’t always resonate with everyone, or many of us are choosing to debunk those boxes we’ve been placed in.
