Michael, you plan on commenting this same thing on every post this month? I saw your first comment saying the same thing. I feel like on Blackstack, we’ve done that.
There are several Black writers doing this. So please no more comments on the posts about it, we all feel this way, this is us double down on our Black experience this month.
My bad I had funny feeling that it was the same post that I was replying to . I’m guessing I’m kinda disappointed that black history is being defined to just one month. I’ll promise to do more diligence on that in the future
Well do me a favor and start capitalizing the B when you talking about Black history, Black people, and Black culture. And as I tell all my clients, write what you wish to see more of. I don’t see you writing on Black history often, so don’t tell me to do something you not even doing.
Submissions are open, feel free to submit the Black history essay you want to share. I’m not disappointed it’s only one month, because I’ve been Black for a lifetime so I honor my Blackness everyday. I get the point of your comment, but it coming off a little weird.
Thank you for celebrating us every day and doubling it in February 🖤 I def like the inclusion of notes, but miss your commentary around what’s featured. I say this acknowledging that requires labor! So I understand wanting to play around with format.
Finally, thank you for including Black Storytelling Week!
I’m glad you said this because I always wondered if the commentary was too much, but it only takes one person so I’ll be back at it next week! And of course I had to include you, I’m so excited for the work you are doing!
We should celebrate our history every day and double it in February

Again I apologize and please keep mind that just like beauty weirdness and intelligence is in the eye of the beholder
No apology needed, Michael. We are good, I just don’t like slick jabs thrown at me. But who does?

No not too much! We trust your curation so hearing why you’re featuring something adds nice context
