^ Definitely read. Iโll save them for later if I canโt right away. I love getting them in my email, and I appreciate the style of providing options to delve into
Hi ๐. I am brand new here and am taking a little time to investigate daily what all this space has to offer. I have to say I am slowly and intentionally falling in love with this corner of the internet. I read a few stacks a day, everyday, from black writers that are strangers but also tribe. It feels like a gift to learn, relate, and reflect with everybody. Some of the authors I follow, others I leave comments simply cheering them on, or I might just hit like and keep it moving. Iโm here to contribute, and not just with my writing but also with my witnessing. If there are people who are here not reading theyโre doing themselves a serious disservice. Thanks for the shares and the invites๐ซถ๐ฝ
I definitely read the pieces. I save and go back to read when I make dedicated time, usually on Sundays. As Substack is changing with so many Notes, I consciously read longer posts, comment and share. I am careful not to give the same weight to notes. Engage with writers. They need to know they connected.๐ซถ๐พโจ
I definitely read them, I save them and go back if I don't have the time in that moment. I have followed and subscribed to many amazing writers I have found here. I will do better about restacking I usually like and comment. It's absolutely not a waste of time. I enjoy my time in Blackstack!
I read them, I save and go to later, and sometimes I get backed up, but I want to intentionally read works, and like, and share. So I may move slower than most. The space is valuable
I read and engage with what resonates. I appreciate seeing what others are writing and that feeling of community when you get those moments of, โok itโs not just me!โ ๐
I have to be honest. I LOVE reading the pieces but I am inconsistent and sometime overwhelmed by the platform itself and the amount of work it holds. I aspire to be fully locked in but I struggle. This month I am participating in a 28x20 challenge and am already feeling dragged to catch up to the prompts. However, I am engaging in the comments and sharing my notes. Iโm also telling yโall all this so, a win is a win. All this to say, I am deeply grateful for the space youโre nurturing here and am not giving up on my aspirations just yet!
Iโm finally catching up on all of my TBRs! Iโm locked in and wish I was going to be in the Bay Area. I went to San Jose State for 2 years before transferring out so I feel like I have a special place in my heart for the bay
I definitely make time to read! In fact this year I want to get back to reading altogether like my pre college days. My intention is to be authentic and engage with other inspiring authentic authors.
Not only do I look forward to you asking us what weโve written, I make it a point to scour through the comments section to engage AND save essays to read. Itโs because of this comments section that I get to engage with my internet play cousins, but I also get to learn from them too.
Itโs definitely not a waste, Iโm new here and getting acclimated so hey yall โ๐พ Iโm from Philly but recently moved to NC so Iโm adjusting. I love us ๐ฅฐ I hope everyone is having a good day

This is vital. Not a waste of time. We need a place for black creators and professionals.

Thank you for sharing my post!
I definitely go and read and engage with articles I see sometime that intrigue me, I donโt think itโs a waste at all.
