Black Reads: Issue 005
Today is a great day to be inspired. Here's a collection of Black Reads to get your creative thoughts flowing or to enjoy this morning with your coffee.
What inspired you to start writing?
Take a moment and think about the first time you expressed yourself authentically without holding back through your writing. Think of the story you need to tell now, what’s playing in your mind on repeat?
Remember why you write, and I encourage you to share your story without holding back. I see so many of you coming out of your shell now that we have found each other. Something magically is happening, let’s keep going.
Perhaps the change is within ourselves, changing our realities. I will do my part to ensure everyone’s voice is heard through this platform. However, I can’t do it alone and every time you show up, you help someone else show up. Our courage to shine is our domino effect in BlackStack.
What a superpower.

Teacher Math: A bird’s eye view of teacher expectations
As the new school year approaches, have you ever wondered what elementary teachers do all day? No it's not sing and have recess. These highly trained professionals juggle over 200 content area standards and manage a small business owner's list of administrative tasks. "Ultimately, this isn’t an argument for arbitrarily increasing a teacher’s pay, rather this is an effort to demonstrate how much teachers are expected to do within the time they are paid. Realistically, the only fair alternative is to pay teachers for all of the hours worked, at their hourly rate of pay, just like everyone else. Makes you wonder why there are around 40,000 open teaching positions in the US today."

An introduction to the Human Design Types, what they mean, and how they apply to your life for Human Design newbies.
I write for me first. If I don't like it, nobody else is seeing it. I wrote initially to entertain and express myself and when others started enjoying what I creating, I started sharing. People picking up what I put down gets addicting, but I don't want to be in the position where I am seeking approval from others. It's for me first.
This round up never gets old!! Thank you 🙏🏾 Blackstack
