Community Writing Events
Opening back up to Writers Circle this month has led to things unfolding in ways that surpass my dreams. I was able to add more days this month for us to meet for Writers Circle and in-person!
For the past few weeks, I have been trying to dedicate time to just simply write. When the time comes, I either lose the words or am tackling the interruptions that are blocking my flow like a defense interception. Between the news having me so frustrated and the weight of my grief I find it bleeding into my writing often leaving the draft to sit and collect dust. Am I the only one experiencing this right now?
I don’t think so, especially after the Writers Circle on Sunday, March 2nd. At the end we shared the pieces we were working on, and were all in sync with the way we feel. Along with the need for more focused community space to explore these emotions, which led to a second Writers Circle date opening up.
In the original March Writers Circle newsletter, I asked if the community wanted more than one virtual meeting, workshops, and in-person events. Y’all said WE DESERVE IT ALL! And I couldn’t agree more so here’s the calendar for March, and we, Blackstack Chapters, are actively working on April’s calendar.
It’s happening, organically. I couldn’t be more grateful!

Productivity Hour
This is a bonus for those who may be interested. I have been joining
’s Pomodoro Technique sprints LIVE and the technique has helped with my productivity.I wanted to share this information with our community while incorporating a live stream option for those who wish to engage directly in the app. If you are subscribed to my personal publication you know I recently opened my chat up after shutting it down to focus on Blackstack. Well, there is so much behind the scenes with Blackstack and growing this platform that I want to share this information but didn’t know if the information was valuable. According to my chat at
this is not only valuable but requested. The plan is to share the business behind the scenes on my personal publication, have discussions around building community, creating streams of income through your writing platform, and host weekly Productivity Hour LIVEs every Wednesday at 8am PT.
My intention for the live is for us to have dedicated time each week to work on our passion projects and by meeting weekly we can hold each other accountable for our personal goals. I understand this may not be something everyone wants, so I will test it out on my publication and if the whole Blackstack community wants to participate then we can add a Blackstack edition for our publications.
The first one will be Wednesday, March 12th at 8am PT so be sure you are subscribed to
if this is something you are interested in.I love y’all.
Seriously.
This community means everything to me and I’m so excited for all of the new things developing because y’all are voicing exactly what you want! Keep doing that and I will keep coming up with plans to make it happen!
See you at the next community writing session!
xoxo, Jacquie
