@Ason - made me think of one of my annoyances this week. I have money in a 401k if I tap into it early I get a 10% tax on it and the sum of money I use also gets income taxed. Why am I getting taxed on my own damn savings? This week I have been thinking about other accounts to rollover those funds so it’s useable as back up for other investments.
Ohhhh this is FACTS! My wife has been trying to access this money from the military that’s HER SAVINGS and you’d think she asked for theirs. It’s proven to us all the time that the system is not designed for us to win. Not even just US anyone with less than $1 million. My client that works in finance always tells me to start putting money in bonds or trusts but I told him this year we setting that up cause this work and save ain’t the answer.
I stopped working at the bank (I was a loan officer & starting financial counseling) because ultimately I felt like I was scamming… and the underlying racism?! Not to mention - being low paid in the field where you work with people’s millions and billions is also insane. There’s a reason why the banking system needed to be bailed out in the first place. It’s running out of steam.
Listen girl I’ve been having praise and worship all week preparing this SSA and I’m happy someone is feeling that energy!!! Kirk Franklin really influenced the music during that time.

I didn’t take an accounts manager position at a bank for this reason! It’s only getting worse too.
I want it to lose steam and disintegrate into a system that actually makes sense!
